The CSB Experience: Course Adjustment, AKIC, LRT, Jollibee… (Termbreaker 2)

It’s a good thing that my mom dropped me off to school this morning since it will be difficult to hitch a ride at the LRT to get to CSB. The problem is that a fire, as I write this piece, is currently razing a mall near the LRT Baclaran Terminal in Pasay. I would only have a problem about it by the time I get myself home.

I was in CSB to have my course adjustment. I failed in Algeb-x (third child in a row) and now I want to have it retaken. Since I enrolled myself to its secondary course, Bmat2-x, I have to replace it with Algeb. The lines are particularly long and there was indeed no order. I thought the line that I joined was the one for CA but in actuality, it is for enrollment purposes (CA form requests and all), so I went to the actual line which is really shorter. If I was there in the first place, I would have been done in no time.

I cross upon Mark the BSBA-CA guy I met a few months back. he lent me some advise over CA procedures but it’d only made my situation worse. I was looking for a good altenrative schedule for me to take Algeb but there’s a but of a problem. It’s just that whatever convenient time I pick, it always have a conflict with one of my enlisted subject. Well, since I’m only replacing Bmat2-x for Algeb, I just went to the registrar and get all things done. I shared to her my dilemma and she had one of my classes moved to the time vacated by BMAT so I can have a convenient schedule as well as a convenient time for Algeb. I promise that by this time, I’ll pass this subject. I only have to make sure that I get the right rpofessors, not just from lecture, but from lab as well.

By the way, I had my Filip13 classes moved from the DV2 MWF 16:50-17:50 to an earlier time at 15:40-16:40 at the AKIC…cool. Too bad that I Won’t be with DV2 since many who enlisted at DV2 Filip13 are from DV1. Waaghh

Oh, yeah. On the way home, there was a long line of passengers lining up at the Vito Cruz station. the problem: the fire in Baclaran. It had forced the LRTA to have LIne 1 open from Monumento to Buendia Station southbound and northbound vice versa. The train that I was on was able to get to the first few stations from Vito Cruz to R. Papa fast but when it comes to the last two, 5th Avenue Station and Monumento Terminal, it got pretty yet awfully slow. Judging but how many songs I listened from my I-pod while reaching these two, I guess it’s around 20 if not 15 (really).

I ate lunch at Jollibee inside the Araneta Square before taing a jeepney ride straight to home. Can’t wait for Monday!
