I tried this experiment on knowing on when and where should I start playing my Sitti playlist. From the point I step inside a jeep on my way to school, I would start playing nonstop until I find out which LRT station (for which I will be riding on a train by that time), will it stop. It happens that last song stopped in Blumentritt Station. Now for phase 2.
Pahsed 2 require me to estime my timing on when should I start my playlist once I get myself to Blumentritt. It’s not an easy task after all, a lot of factors makes it difficult for me to play all the song until the moment I step out of the jeep.
There are instances that I would succeed but most of the time, it ends too early or too late. But nevertheless, I’m getting warmer. Next, phase 3.
For pahse three, I’d be able to know when I first played the playlist by knowing how actually long is the entire playlist and by knwoing the time it ended. So far, I could still remember that my playlist ended at 7:05 pm, the time I got home. Once I knew how long is the Sitti playlist, I would have achieved 100% success.

Sitti in the Mix: The Dense Modesto Remixes is the first remix album of Philippine bossa nova singer Sitti. Instead of a bossa nova sound, Sitti collaborated with Myx Philippines DJ Dense Modesto to make her songs into dance tracks.
From me:
I like the way the songs were remixed. The beat is very catchy and danceable. Most of the songs are upbeat and exciting while others are mellow yet the beat’s still there. There are also interludes in between some songs. It amkes a good transition from one song to another.
Have I mentioned that the tracks play nonstop without the listener knowing it? Just like in track 1-Ipanema Drums, the drums played as if there are actually drums, by the time it gets to Track 2, the drumbeat changes into techy-beats.
It continues to do so until the end. The Cd’s run ends with an outro of a guiatr playing continously until it finally ends.

Last Sunday, I bought myself a copy of Sitti In The Mix: The Dense Modesto Remixes. It’s a compilation album of selected remixed songs from Sitti’s previous albums prior to 2007. The remixing is done by DJ Dense Modesto.
I thought the CD was expensive so I told a saleslady how much does it cost (I was at Astroplus, The Block). She said it costs around Php 250. Too bad since it doesn;t bear a price tag so I can’t be sure of what she siad. I went to the cashier to buy the CD, and much to my relief, it is 100 pesos cheaper, Php150.00!
Well anyway, I had the songs from the CD ripped to I-tunes a couple of days later and had it placed inside my iPod. Next thying I knew, I was no longer shffling my 147 songs but dancing to the beat of 15 danceable songs sang by Sitti. I just couldn’t help myself but dance as I go (siyempre, hindi obvious).
