Check this out…it’s just so freaking cool!
Waghh! It’s that time of the year now wherein I see a lot of incoming froshes coming into CSB with (and without) their parents and guardians, circling around the campus, swarming every corner, confused, and not knowing a thing of getting their way around. What’s worse is that: IT”S NOT US!
Waghhh! With the onset of the peak enrollment season, I realized that “Hey! I’m a college sophomore!” and so does the rest of my 107 people. But then again, it’s better that way than being held back for one totally long year.
Like they say, “When it rains it pours”….literally! MAY showers suddenly poured on the day of the enrollment for froshes and it has been like that for almost 2 weeks now (in an inconsistent kind of way).
Tomorrow, I’ll be in school to have myself enrolled for the upcoming school year which will start on the 21st. Thank goodness there’s no tuition fee increase or else, my insurance will bleed out dry. Speaking of insurance, no thanks for the people behind my educational plan and for the fact that CSB’s a trimestral school, my mom is going tom pay for my tuition via check. Good thing, we’ll be paid by the insurance company hwegh heheh!
Oh yeah! Speaking of tomorrow, next week will be my last week in BMAT summer class up until the 16th. I sure learned a lot from Simple Interest to Ammortization. Next week, our last lesson would be about Sinking Funds.
Back to the topic, I see many of the froshes haven’t had their orientations yet so good luck for them and I hope they’d be able not to encounter the problems that many of us 107 experienced. Most especially, for us 107 MMA people who really had it bigtime with the people from the way up (Think MMA Y! Groups scandal).
Although common problems like “I don’t know this?”, “What should we do?”, “Can you do this for us?”, “Eeww!”, etc. would still be around; I hope many of the 108 people would well-aware of what they’ll encounter next school year.
SEE YOU GUYS IN LESS THAN 12 DAYS!
this is way way late…Anyway, this has been a very meaningful experience for me since it’s he first time I was part of these kind of event no matter how small my participation is to it.
We’ve been planning this since around middle of 2nd term and it was almost close of not having Bright Lights at all. I was one of the people responsible of getting sponsors for Bright Lights. I somehow got two big-time names to sponsor but they backed out at the last minute (ironically one of them sponsored a major event with similar details)
I would like to thank all of the people involved in Bright Lights as well as to the participants and the attendees no matter how few you are when you came that night. One of the models, Kerwinn, didn’t showed up at the calltime so he was dismissed by the organizers (he had classes that time). Willard was surprisingly one of the models who’s gonna run the runway so he and theothers got tips on how to model with attitude).
Sorry if some of the pics are a bit blurry, I can’t get a good shot with the digicam that I was using.
Until next year!

Recruitment ng mga Orgs sa mga walang kamuwang muwang na Froshes ^u^
Argh! It’s been less than a week since summer vacation started and not even close of a week since I started attending summer class for Bmat2x, I suddenly got hit with what could be the most unexpected thing one might never had in the summer: being sick with fever. Yeah, I got summer fever, hehehe. It’s been exactly a week since I had that.
Earlier in the morning I already have a bad case of the cold, coughing like crazy. By the time I got home, I felt a bit weezy. My eyes feel a bit warm but I’m still sweating. It was only at around dinnertime did I felt really sick. That’s when I realized that I was having a fever. I quickly change to wear a thick sweater for me to sweat. I had trouble watching TV after that.
I had a basin of water in my room where I could make “punas” on myself to cool my head of. I spent the night trying to sleep at the couch instead of my bed. I woke up early the next morning and later went back to sleep at my own bed.
I seem to have feverish illusions whenever I am sick as I think of outwardly things that comes out from my mind. Weird.
Although I feel a bit better, I still try to limit myself from watching TV too long for I might suffer a regression. I was at least able to watch this old anime being reaired on TV, Mga Munting Pangarap ni Romeo (Romeo no Aoi Sora/Romeo’s Blue Sky) and it is already ending its run by tomorrow Friday (May 2). So it’s a good thing that I was at least able to watch one of the highlights of the series.
Good thing by Saturday early morning I got better so I was able to go to school. Too bad though as I still feel a bit dazed so I got that woozy feeling when I took a ride in the LRT. Waaghh!
Business Mathematics is the “highly-followed” sequel to the hit Algebra-x. It is more into, well, business things and it now involves money in Pesos. I don’t really know what to expect. I never have high hopes that I could ace this one as I did to Algeb which I retook. One thing though for sure is rthat I won’t spend the whole of my summer vacation learning Bmat as I’m still going to have one anyway. From April 22nd (not April 21 as I have mentioned way back) to May 16 Friday, yehey!. So I still have four days of summer vacation.
My Lec prof is Dr. Nocon and Lab’s Mr. Antonio. they look harmless and they are very good at teaching :):):)
I hope I won’t get bored this summer…

WALA PA RIN KAMING INTERNET SA BAHAY BUWISET!!
There’s so much for me to tell about my first year in CSB but I wouldn’t be able to tell them all in just a single day considering that today is my last day as a frosh in CSB. So as to formally close The CSB Experience’s first year with a grand slam, I will put summarize versions of my intended blog posts to put it all in one single blog.
1. There’s a First Time in Everything
-Darn, if I only I had known that my online test in Reconse would close at 1pm sharp on Wednesday April 16 then I should have took it earlier. Akala ko pa naman puwede siyang sagutin pag ala una na ng hapon, Kainis!
2. Si James at Ang Mahiwagang Foodshop sa AKIC (James and the Secret Foodshop at AKIC)
-Ang saya saya ko! Siguradong hindi na ako magkakaroon pa uli ng klase sa AKIC, I took the opportunity to go the hidden foodshop at the 8th floor and gave myself a food trip that I’ll never forget! Ang sarap ng pizza nila!
3. Si James at ang Mahiwagang Kubo-kada (James and the Magic Hut Gang)
-I now have a reason why I should make tambay on Plaza V. I’d get to hang out with my friends who woould spend their C-break in Bora (PLaza V.). I also learne dthat I could make take-out on dine-in orders I made whenever I buy food from the Caf.
4. The Road to Bright Lights (A Love Story to Remember)
-It was a GR8 MARCH 28, 2008. Mediamax was to held its annual Bright Lights whcih is an awards show for outstandning MMAers. This is the only org event that I actually enjoyed (plus the out-of-town team building we had earlier). That is because we spent months of long preparations and a whole lot of hard work. Because of our teamwork, we were able to pull the event off.
5. Four Thousand, Five Hundred Fifty Four Minutes
-Looks like I’d get to have a school-free vacation after all. I learned that I’d be able to have my BMAT summer class from the 21st of April up until May 16 only, 3 hours and 20 minutes a day, six days a week. 2 hours of Lec, and an hour of Lab with a 20 minute interval in between. If only our Ilocos trip would be at the 17th until the day before class starts then should I really enjoy my summer.
6. many Friends so Little tym
-Ang dami ko nang nakilalang mga bagong kaibgan sa thrid term, Sayang hindi rin naman kami magiging magkaklase sa mga darating na terms kasi magkaiba-iba kami ng mga kurso. I’m wishing the best for them. I will miss them a lot.
7. Thinking of Publishing
-Because I’ve made a lot of posts that are under The CSB Experience, I’m thinking of making a compilation books of all the posts that I’ve made throughout the months that The J-Blog Files have been in existence.
8. The CSB Experience (The Beginning) (A thought)
-Just a thought. I’ve been wanting to make a post about how I got into CSB from the the time I took my entrance exams that was held more than a year ago. Just so I could complete them all before May 21st.
9. Not Yet The End of Year One
-Although the this post’s title is “Foreclosure” I still need to write one more blog before May 21 just so I culd formally conclude The CSB Experience. I’m also thinking about making a transitory series based on my BMAT summer experience as well as starting my TCSBE Year 2 series so nothing’s final as of now. Kainis kailan ba uli kami magkakaroon ng DSL sa bahay, buwiset!
10. Jenny From the Taft
-All I can say is “JENNY IS SCARY!!!”
