The CSB Experience: From USTe with LUV (The ANIMOfication of the Benildean Thomasians)

Meet Joseph, he is a behavioral science major, a Thomasian 106(my version of the Lasallian batch system applied in CSB), a UST uniform-clad lad and a student of the University of Santo Tomas…then. Today, he is a Hotel, Restaurant and Instituiton Managament student, a 2-termed 107, and my classmate in Algeb-x who wears a long polo.

Meet Monica, a student from UST, and a certified tigasin. Today, she is an HRIM gal and wears a formal attire complete with a black coat. In other days, she wears a Chemlec/chemlab uniform complete with white crocs-like clogs. and yeah, she’s my classmate from Algeb-x. She has a friend who is, somehow, a Thomasian as well.

Meet Paolo E., a Biology student, certified math genius and supposedly a 3rd year(?) student from UST. Today, he’s also an HRIM student. Seen always with a coat-and-tie attire (formal) in some days and as well as wearing his Chemlec uniform. A classmate of mine in Algeb-x.

Meet Paolo L., an Archicture student from UST, certified Thomasian forever. Today he’s a BSBA-CA student (Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Computer Applications), and still a certified Thomasian at heart. He’s also a classmate of mine in Algeb-x.

Meet Paolo C., a UST student, a friend of the abovementioned. Today, he is a student pursuing a course under SDA (School of Design and Arts) and my classmate in Algeb-x.

Meet Angela, a behavioural science major in UST, another supposedly 3rd year Thomasian. Today, she is a formal attire-clas HRIM student currently serving her 2nd term in the school. She’s my classmate in Algeb-x.

These are just some of the many Thomasians that I know who became Benildean Transferees. They make up almost the majority of the CSB transfer students, just neck-to-neck with those from La Salle. There are many reasons on why they transferred, it’s either 1)”It’s hard in UST”, 2)”My girlfriend broke up with me in UST”, 3)”I can’t seem to find the satisfaction I need from UST”, etc. These reasons are quite common in other colleges thus the urge to transfer.

Although these classmates of mine had long left USTe and that they pretty much embraced the ANIMOistic Benildean culture, the memories that they made while there are dearly treasured well into their hearts. That’s why USTe will always have a special place to their hearts and minds. Paolo L. is more Thomasian of the abovementioned taht’s why he talks nothing else but his beloved first school. Hehehe. Hmmm…..

The James Habitan Video Resume

I made this multimedia resume as part of my requirements for COMSK2x. I really don’t know what to put in a resume kaya i refer myself to this Pinoy website which is all about this host from the defunct show ART-IS-KOOL . the site contains a resume of the host so I patterned mine from his. Okay ba?

A J-Blog Files Anniversary Special: “WHAT?! PATI KAW?” (Special J-Blog Coverage)

Flashes: March 24, 2007 9:54 AM. I posted an entry called “Just Before Graduation” for which I contemplated myself on the years that I was in SJA 24 hours before I graduated from high school.

5. Efficient at kapakipakinabang CSB intranet (with E-mail, message boards, and the like)
6. Paggamot sa student apathy mentality.
7. Actual student involvement not just outside of the school but inside.
10. Mas improved na guidance para sa mga bagong batch nang mga froshes (not froshies but froshes).

Good luck sa mga tatakbo!

You have a decidedly upbeat attitude that is rarely discouraged; a good mental and emotional balance.

The 3 Soul Urge gives intuitive insight, thus, very high creative and inspirational tendencies. The truly outstanding trait shown by the 3 Soul Urge is that of self-expression, regardless of the field of endeavor.

On the negative side, you may at times become too easygoing and too optimistic, tending to scatter forces and accomplish very little. Often, the excessive 3 energy produces non-stop talkers. Everyone has faults, but the 3 soul urge doesn’t appreciate having these pointed out.

Your Inner Dream number is: 5

An Inner Dream number of 5 means:
You dream of being totally free and unrestrained by responsibility. You see yourself conversing and mingling with the natives in many nations, living for adventure and life experiences. You imagine what you might accomplished.

The CSB Experience: Subok sa Pangyayari ng Daluyong

Ok, I’m goinh to try my best on inserting the important parts of the novel, ung simula. gitna, at wakas…

1. Simula

2. Gitna

The CSB Experience: DLS-CSB SC President Aspirant Forwarded this Message to me

Gulat ako nang may natanggap ako kanina na email from Zach White, the much-talked about aspirant vying for the position of Student Council President. Mukhang he made his presence known at the midst of the trouble happening within the MMA community. Too bad, he got me confused with the guy having enlistment problems…

———- Forwarded message ———-
From: Zach White <xakqri@gmail.com>
Date: Sat, Mar 22, 2008 at 6:29 PM
ZACH WHITE for SC President
To: jlhabitan@yahoo.com, carlos_00120@yahoo.com

Hello guys!

It seems that you’ve been the talk of the town of the MMA Community.

Jaime, I share your, and others in your batch, sentiments about academic advising. It does really take a while for the advisers to approve your enlisted courses. I think the problem there was no body had informed you that it would take that long, and that the advisers had to do their jobs and “advise” you on the subjects to be taken.

Carlos, I couln’t agree with you more on giving the frosh fair warning about the guidelines regarding the borrowing of equimpment from ML0. I also experienced the same thing when I was a frosh.

Well, ang masasabi ko lang, CSB is a long way from being perfect, there is still so much that can be done.
A bit of good news for you: All of that can be addressed through the Student Council…

Why is it just now that you hear of this SC? It has been in turmoil for the longest time. You might not know this but I am running for SC President. My biggest action for the SC is to bring the Student Council to the Students.

I am also an Frosh Orientor, and part of what I am pushing for if elected to be SC President is to inform the frosh of the small details that will prove to be points of big issues when something goes wrong. Such as academic advising and the handbook problems issue.

For more information feel free to click on this link http://ivotezach.multiply.com
or add me up on y!messenger my id is: u.zach

If you like what you read, please do not forget to
vote ZACH WHITE for SC PRESIDENT on March 27-31 2008,
at polling stations at CSB-Main, SDA and AKIC campuses

and please help me in spreading the word to your batchmates, blockmates and friends!!!!
as I am effecting a silent campaign to illustrate that I do not need to draw attention to myself in order to work

Animo Benilde!
Zach White
