Buhay Kolehiyo: “Oh Come On Guys,…”

1.I don’t want to hear those words, it’s like when in high school where high school seniors would often say,”Come on guys, you’re in high school na…”

2.I hate the dusa policy wherein froshes (and I dislike calling them ‘froshies’) have to suffer the misfortunes experienced by their seniors, yet they were never told.

3. I sure wish all that any possible mishap could be avoided by telling froshes first hand of such things for us to be more aware

5. I don’t like the over excessive pride of some college peers as if they are products of a brainwashed society. Some make backstabbing a life-long hobby.

6. I wish each and every collegian have a free handbook of their school’s rules and regs that cannot just be distributed with a limited supply of books. they could be published online as part of an online access thingy for students’ references

7.I wish that school pride is evident the way it is shown at its sister intitutions and fellow colleges. Bring back the glory they say.

8.If people from the faculty and admin have student affairs problems, they could have an urgent meeting to address such, para wala nang banggaan.

9.  Make suitable places for student smokers to smoke…adjacent to the school but at the same time, no non-smoker would be able to pass there. If that happens, marereduce ang risk of second-hand smoking (no offense to smokers). Yes they’re in college pero siguro a little respect on passers-by going along Mini Stop and Charlie Brown. (Peace!). Ban tricycles who charge 4 times the usual side car fare and those who doesn’t bear a city hall-issued license plate. Make them practice proper ethics. The pedicabs in less populated places in NCR are more organized.

10. Make an all-intra school online forum where profs, admin, and students would interact with each other. I hate the pahabol thing with profs and I hate the miscommunication between students, admin and profs.

Swiss Model Typing While There’s Sunog Outside

Next, you’ll see how I work using my mom’s laptop (Taken this afternoon March16, 3.30pm) Last two are pics of the fire that occured last Friday morning around 2 am near our place. Gising ako non kasi brownout the whole night.

Blumentritt hanggang Bahay, Yes I Know She Is Tattooed On My Mind

And I can’t get you out of my dreams
Now I know that you’re the dangerous kind
And your face is tattooed on my mind
Coz I can’t get you out of my dreams

It’s kind of funny when you now if someone makes a mark on you you can’t stop thinking about it. I am no different. I got hooked on my Sitti songs being played on my I-pod. Now, I thought of a way on how I could be able to listen to it on the way home nonstop until the last song from my playlist.

I tried this experiment on knowing on when and where should I start playing my Sitti playlist. From the point I step inside a jeep on my way to school, I would start playing nonstop until I find out which LRT station (for which I will be riding on a train by that time), will it stop. It happens that last song stopped in Blumentritt Station. Now for phase 2.

Pahsed 2 require me to estime my timing on when should I start my playlist once I get myself to Blumentritt. It’s not an easy task after all, a lot of factors makes it difficult for me to play all the song until the moment I step out of the jeep.

There are instances that I would succeed but most of the time, it ends too early or too late.  But nevertheless, I’m getting warmer. Next, phase 3.

For pahse three, I’d be able to know when I first played the playlist by knowing how actually long is the entire playlist and by knwoing the time it ended. So far, I could still remember that my playlist ended at 7:05 pm, the time I got home. Once I knew how long is the Sitti playlist, I would have achieved 100% success.

Teorya ng Panitikan (di lahat)

Deconstruction – a strategy of close reading that elicits the ways that key terms and concepts may be paradoxical or self-undermining, rendering their meaning undecidable

Structuralism and semiotics (see semiotic literary criticism) – examine the underlying structures in a text, the linguistic units in a text and how the author conveys meaning through any structures

The CSB Experience: Paano ba ang Magreklamo? Hmm…

Should I make this limited, I think this is for the better

from DLS-CSB_SDA-MMA Y! Grps:

Di kami kailanman informed about these policies whatsoever. Kung sana lang we knew this if every one of us ay me kopya ng student handbook ng CSB.

Never man kami ng block namin nakatanggap ng kopya ng student handbook na yan. Palagi daw ubos. We don’t know these kind of procedures kaya we get to experience embarassment from all of this.

Please lang po, by next year, all should have their own copy, including the next batch. It’s one way that students don’t have to complain about.

PEACE! :):):)
